Background

Osmose Utilities Services is a company of technicians, professional engineers, scientists, and corrosion experts that prevent, identify and solve utility structural issues. NetSuite and other IT systems play an integral role in how the company helps its clients mitigate risk. Due to continued growth, Osmose needed to build a highly capable NetSuite team, and required a NetSuite Business Systems Analyst to work onsite in the Peachtree City office. Having used a local Atlanta recruitment agency with no luck, Osmose turned to Oliver Parks to help find the best candidate for the role. With a lack of local talent, however, this was going to be a challenge. Remote candidates would not be considered.

Finding Candidates When There Are None

Oliver Parks first checked its database for candidates that met Osmose’s criteria, as well as performed a high-level search for NetSuite candidates in the local area. Oliver Parks' database is second-to-none, built over years of working with highly skilled candidates.  These candidates trust Oliver Parks’ consultants and will consider positions put forward to them.  In this instance, however, there was not a local match for the role in the database.  So the candidate would not have been found. With time of the essence, Oliver Parks needed to move quickly.

By using experience in the sector and technical resources, Oliver Parks found a candidate that lived in commutable distance to the Osmose office and met all the job requirements.  She was wrapping up a contract and looking for a permanent role with low travel. The job was perfect for her, and from the first interview, Osmose thought she was perfect too. It was a great fit for both sides.
